From July 10 through August 14, 2026, Another Choice Youth and Family Outreach will continue its Open Streets community health initiative by transforming East 115th Street every Friday into an active, welcoming public space centered on wellness, creativity, and connection. Building on the success of previous seasons, Open Streets will serve as a consistent, neighborhood based space where residents of all ages can gather, move, create, and access resources that support overall wellbeing.
Friday, July 10, 2026 — 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Social and Emotional Wellness
Focused on strengthening community connections, supporting mental health, and creating spaces for conversation, healing, and relationship building.
Friday, July 17, 2026 — 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Physical Wellness
Focused on movement, exercise, preventive health practices, and activities that encourage active and healthy lifestyles.
Friday, July 24, 2026 — 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Environmental Wellness
Focused on caring for shared community spaces, neighborhood beautification, and awareness of how our environment impacts our well-being.

Intellectual, Occupational, and Financial Wellness
Job and Career Fair featuring employers, training programs, and resources that support education, career development, and financial stability.

Job and Career Fair featuring employers, workforce development programs, entrepreneurship resources, and financial literacy support.

Spiritual Wellness
Focused on reflection, purpose, culture, mindfulness, and practices that support inner grounding, hope, and spiritual growth within the community.
Each week, community members will have access to wellness activities including yoga, dance, movement, and mindfulness sessions that support physical, emotional, and mental health. These offerings are designed to meet people where they are and make wellness visible and accessible in public space. Alongside wellness programming, Open Streets will feature:
Open Streets functions as an extension of ACYFO’s broader community health work, connecting outdoor public space activation with ongoing services and resources offered through our Center for Solutions. By bringing health, arts, and community engagement directly to the block, this initiative strengthens relationships, promotes shared care, and reinforces the idea that safe and healthy communities are built together.
THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. NO REGISTRATION NEEDED!
